It's not fair and such a scandal.

Was wondering when someone might have a moan about the fact Norwich City were ordered to play on Thursday (did not choose to do so).

Now Cardiff have slipped up the moans begin. I bet, had they won on Saturday and win again later today they would not be making such a fuss.

Add to that, Cardiff made no appeal or approach the FL or FA to try and re-arrange their game prior to this. Not that they would get an agreed appeal because of the TV money, which they were happy to accept at the time.

    Pathetic!

I agree with him that Norwich playing on the Thursday night was unfair
At such a crucial time of the season the main contenders should be playing the same day

However, to come out with this now after Cardiff have dropped points is pathetic
It shows that their players are wingers just like their manager
I would actually like to see Cardiff slip up at Preston today and listen to them winge on again

I think that it's such a scandal that we ought to give Cardiff the three points we won at Portaloo Road, I'm sure if the boot was on the other foot, they would't hesitate to make the same gesture:emoticon-0120-doh: Just one other thing I'd like to add, "Piss off you ****ing cry-babies<wah>

  4. Playing on Thursday meant we had less time to prepare for the Ipswich game.

My opinion of Dave Jones lowers every day, he moans about the QPR game, he moans we had extra rest between Thursday and today (despite the fact that technically they had more rest between their last match and that of QPR which was probably a geater advantage to them, playing the top team and all).

He should concentrate on his own team and stop worrying about us.

    What a loser

That is a very good point and to be honest it was not one that I had considered.

Not to worry, we are where we are on merit over 43 games, not the last one or two.

What Dave Jones and Cardiff fail to take into account is Norwich also have had to play 3 games in 9 days (Watford (away Tuesday 12th), Forest (home Friday 15th) Ipswich (away Thursdsay 21st)), where as Cardiff have had to play 3 games in 11 days (Sheff Utd away Tues 12th, Portsmouth home Sat 16th, QPR home Sat 23rd). I find it an insult that Dave Jones and Cardiff can moan about Norwich having a couple of days extra rest when they have played 3 games in 9 days compared to Cardiff's 3 games in 11 days. Norwich deserved the extra days rest

  7. Fair, didn't realise they had only played 3 in 11 days - what a joke! haha

Now Neil Warnock is moaning about Norwich's fixtures, thinks Delia must know someone at the football league.

I saw in the sun today that Dave Jones said we scored in the fifth minute of injury time because we were fresher because we'd had longer between games.

Conviniently forgetting that we've scored 23 goals in the last ten minutes and 12 in injury time BEFORE the Derby game.

Right not being funny here Norwich had 3 games in 9 days and 3 days before that had a difficult away game at Swansea, hardly favoring Norwich, its same for all teams, they should just get on with it and accept that Norwich got a very good result at Ipswich and deserve credit for it.

I would like to see if cardiff fans will still be moaning that we get an extra 2 hours rest on bank holiday monday as we play straight after them :)

It's not us fans who are moaning. I think DJ and Macca should have kept their mouths shut - I guess they're feeling the pressure at the moment, it's a very tense end-of-season!!

I do think it's going to go down to the last day though, can't see us not beating 'boro at home and I'm pretty sure you will have too much for Portsmouth! And we all kick-off at the same time on the final day, so there'll be nothing fixture-wise to moan about

I hate Warnock. In fact I think most of Carrow Road does. One of the highlights of this season was at the QPR game when the ground was rocking with the loudest and clearest of chants....."Warnock, ur a c........"

    Very accurate too!

Neil Warnock is always moaning about something. Good luck for the rest of the season. Last season we fell short right at the end because some twat with his pathetic peno. I think you will take 2nd and hope you do. You may not have the best team on paper but on the pitch you have been the best team i have seen this season, the work ethic you have is proven with the amount of late goals you score. Good luck and enjoy it

Jim - how can you call that description accurate? I've always found them far more useful than Warnock ;)

Surpirsed you can remeber that far back Dave! Only 2 days ago you claimed such activities we a distant memory (or words to that effect) <laugh>

Canary Jim - I hate Warnock. In fact I think most of Carrow Road does.

I think this is indeed true, despite leaving Sheff Utd years ago when he was at his worst. He does seem to have calmed down abit now but maybe that is only most things are going in his favour - perhaps next season the 'old Leopard' will re-emerge.

The decision to move the East Anglian derby game forward to Thursday was taken on Police advice (back in october) and has been backed by the football league, so if Warnock and Jones have any complaints to make maybe they should make them to the police. Also how many games have been played since that advice was given back in october to move the game?
