My pal has had £20 on Fletcher to score first goal for every game this season. If has only failed to pocket winnings once.

At 7/1 per game, he has banked £400 so far in 4 weeks.

Tell me where a cost of £20 nets a £400 return anywhere else in 4 weeks? I reckon he will bank another £140 this afternoon.

The Fletch. Goal machine, fans hero and bookie slayer. Lol

Hands up from me Cest he is doing well probably because I refused to put him in my fantasy team just hope he keeps it up now.
Heard a few people saying that he does nothing else in games but, for me he is a CF so I'm not bothered about his link up play/defending/bringing people into the game bollocks as long as he is scoring he's doing his job.
Any ideas what's good with humble pie?

No need for any humble pie kidda. We are Sunderland fans and If fletcher keeps scoring, we are all happy.

BTW, I think fletchers all round game has been excellent too, especially as a lone strikes with poor support from Sess. He leads the line well imo.

Agreed mate suppose there'll always be some who are not content unless they are slagging one or more of our players off just for the sake of it and not because they had a bad game, life as a Sunderland fan wouldn't want it any other way.

There isn't a single player at the club now that upsets me in all honesty and include pantomime villains like Titus who is a very good defender imo but with a very poor PR.

I like our squad of players and would be happy if any of them played. That too is a first. No weak links.

He was still 7/1 last weekend.

Will be interesting to see how long that lasts at this rate. Bet he is much shorter this afternoon?

Back to Fletcher he's Been great and if he can keep this up then the 12-14 mill we spent on him will be cheap.

I had a similar system going on when Adebayor was at Arsenal, he was always around 7's, and for something like 7 in 9 he did the business.

He then plummeted to 3's, and stopped scoring , but was canny while it lasted!

I've got 20 on Seb first goal today as Wigan give free kicks away, that Spanish twat denied me, which pissed me off as I was up celebrating.

He's a ****ing good player as well, not just a goalscorer.

    5 in 5, awesome.

The news up here in Scotland is that they would rather have Fletcher in the squad than Levein managing the squad.

Scotland have few quality strikers and many mediocre managers, they want Walter Smith who would have handled the situation a lot better.
