I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping that Blackburn go on a long term losing streak! No man should have to put up with all that he has endured!

So the chickens finally came home to roost.

Venkys will regret this by the end of the season, at least Kean left when they were in a decent league position and can hold his head up high.

True dave. He may have been a bit hapless, but
Nobody deserves that abuse. There might be a vacancy at the portaloo for him soon

I don't really like Steve Kean, but still harsh all the **** he has had to take.

I would be worried as a Blackburn fan, who would actually take that job with Venky's in control? I don't think many good managers would.

It would appear, based on the write up on the BBC website, Kean well me be looking at a constructive dismissal case against the Venky's. If that is the case then I hope he wins and gets a bucket load in compensation <ok>

How could any manager work with that club !
Being publicly told if you don't win your first three games your sacked, then given a points tally to reach as we'll ?
Totally no idea how to run a club, I hope they fail big time.
The Blackburn fans have there wish now I hope they reap the world wind !

The fans need to learn how to get rid of someone politely.

I heard a story recently about the 5th marquess(marquis?) of lansdowne. I'm a little vague on the facts but in 1922 lived in ireland. Two men came into the house while they were having dinner two men came ino the room. These men stated that they should leave the house as they have been asked to burn the house down. They then politely allowed the family to leave the house and even gave them time to save the children's toys!

What is there to dislike about Steve Kean? I'm just interested in why you should feel that way towards him Yellow. As far as I can see the guy has behaved impeccably, retained his dignity, done his best for the club he has served devotedly for years, stepped into the breach when asked to do so by the new owners, etc.; pretty admirable I'd say. In return he's had unbelievable abuse from the supporters and has now been totally undermined by his Director of Football, Shebby Singh. <ok>

Frankly whatever he was being paid was nowhere near what he deserved (well, in football terms) for the amount of **** he's taken from every quarter over the last 18 months, and the fact his family have felt threatened at times is frankly disturbing, who goes after someones daughter because their father isn't doing well at work?

I also agree with Robbie, he may not be the most talented manager to grace the game, but he's always handled everything excellently, and never let the pressure show.

He's arrogant and two faced...I don't buy this "what's not to like about him" bs! He undermined Sam Allardyce and people say, he had a hand in forcing him out so that he could take over.

People see the abuse he has had, feel sorry for him and decide he's a nice bloke. He doesn't deserve the crap he's taken, but that doesn't mean he's a nice bloke. In my opinion, he's a prize t!@t.

As I say, he doesn't deserve the abuse he's got and people have gone way too far in the way they have gone about getting him removed, but he's not done a good job on the field (regardless of how much support he did or didn't have).

What evidence have you got for any of that? Where's the evidence that he "undermined" Sam Allardyce? WHO says he had a hand in forcing Allardyce out? If you are going to make such allegations against him, let's have some hard evidence please, not just "people say" and rumour-mongering.

I'm with you on this Robbie, I've heard nothing but good things about Steve Kean apart from the idiotic supporters who wouldn't let the truth get in the way of an excessive amount of abuse!

Look at the YouTube videos, listen to what Allardyce says and others that were close to the situation. There's plenty of EVIDENCE.

Hypocritical or what, where is your evidence of him being a "nice" bloke!? You've watched from afar with your rise tinted glasses and fluffy slippers feeling sorry for him and no doubt coming to the conclusion that because he has been attacked, as I say he doesn't deserve that, but this doesn't make him a nice bloke.
