Steve Kean says he has been "forced to resign" as manager of Championship side Blackburn Rovers. The Scot has left Ewood Park with immediate effect because his position had become "untenable", he said in a statement. What a farce at Blackburn......Venkys say Steve Cockerill is fav for the job
If ever World War 3 comes I'd want someone like him in the trenches with me as he can take a lot of ****, might be a dodgy manager but good luck to him
not really given a second chance, not forgiven for taking them down but was not doing bad this season
As much as I dislike the guy because he's a boring git, only just less boring then Pearson, I can't help but think this wasn't fair at all. They're doing really well this year and because of some idiot fans who think (like Leeds) that they DESERVE to belong in the Premier League, he's got the bullet because he couldn't handle the pressure of them anymore. Blackburn fans need to wake up and realise things could be A LOT worse... they could be Coventry or Portsmouth. Kean brought in some extremely talented players and seems to have them playing well. Tim Sherwood is apparently the favourite to get the job; did he actually play for Blackburn? I know he played for Spurs and Pompey if I remember correctly
OMG Steve Cotterill favourite for the job. A bloke living on past truimphs at the giants of English football that are Cheltenham Town.
The Venkys don't seem to have much of a clue I actually don't think he is that bad as a manager but he also represented the owners and the fans were protesting about the owners , he has put up with quite a lot of **** so maybe he has had enough I hope they give the job to Dowie
It depends, if it was the owners that forced him to resign then no, if it was the situation and/or the effect it was having on him and his family then yes there's a difference.
Will be interesting to see how their season goes from here. Think some people may have egg on their faces should Rovers fail to go up.
Oh now you've done it. This is no yolking matter, and if they don't go up now someone is going to be spitting feathers about this decision at the end of the season.
They third in the league. By Christmas when they are mid table those clueless owners will be wanting him back. The owners and fans deserve another relegation this season.
