Correct, just like some people pronounce the word "give" as "lend (like can you lend us a *** mate) it`s just that most normal people pronounce a word as it is spelt.

 

Would 'lend us a *** mate' be applicable to those of us that are hetro and don't frequent Manchester's Canal Street?
