Forest have been in touch, and want Seaborne on loan. Seen Millwall linked also? That's not true.

Apparently DS is keen to make the switch, providing he has guarantees of league games.

Not sure if Saints would allow to go to them? What do people think?

I'd like to see him stay for cover reasons but I can see why he'd want to go if he was guaranteeing himself the playing time. He proved on Tues night that he is slightly more versatile with his runs up the wing.

Here's hoping - nowhere near Premiership quality

He needs games which he won't get here, perfect all round if you ask me

If he goes on loan we must be able to recall him at short notice.

Strange one this as we are always saying that we are short of cover and have only recently brought in Maya. Does this mean we have a youngster near to progressing into the team?

If he goes in must do. A red card and an injury and we are down to 1.

    BBC Radio Solent on Twitter:

Nigel Adkins says he's not expecting anyone to leave #Saintsfc on loan in the near future. No new injuries for weekend, Cork aside.

Adkins says a lot of things - didn't he repeatedly say no-one would leave in the final days of the window and denied the signing of Yoshida?

Anything can happen! (or perhaps I'm too hopeful :p)

Seaborne may be getting a slapped wrist in the near future.

ideally you would have him loaned out, with an option to be recalled

Both had been in touch but then so had many other club including Birmingham,
the problem seems to be who pays the wages.
Don't think NC wants to send players out on loan and we have to pay half their wages.
The lad needs games and if we had more Center Back depth, i am sure he would be allowed but unfortunately we haven't and as he has also played left back in his earlier football days, so he can also be used there as he was in the Sheff Wed game.

Can't see Stephens being used as replacement in the prem.

Wasn't involved in the first cup game Richardson played R CB ( Was away for 2nd)

Also hasn't featured on the bench yet. One for the future & a great prospect as RCB
the right age to come good & getting practice with younger groups team.

Lets hope the club allows him out on loan & he does get games he needs to get back to regular playing.

There's nothing worse then going out on loan & the club you go to don't play you
or even worse you play a few games & then you are dropped not even on the bench.

He would only be on a short term loan wouldn't he, with a recall after 28 days ?

You can have an immediate recall written into a loan agreement.

Unless we are getting someone in, he would have to have a recall written into his contract. Otherwise we'd be pretty thin in defence.
