Why bring other sides into the debate??? what has that got to do with anything. All im saying is that we need to improve instead of declining. you cant say we have been good in the past 3 games, as for QPR then they are struggling at home to reading tonight at home and it was our first game. Norwich lost 8-0 in their opening match once and still got promoted....the first game means nothing its how you perform throughout the season and im hoping that laudrup can hack it as like i said the jury is out for me at the moment...
The jury is out of course but lets get real, ML was the best pick of the bunch and the outstanding candidate for the job, swansea have been worked out by alot of teams and its this reason that we are pursuing a different method this season,we have a proven plan that works quite well at this level but we need to think about what to do differently!! if you cant see that Dai then it is you that is blind!! Lets just give the new guys a bit of time to settle and get use to the team, i will have alot more to say after about 10 games, then we knw more
Ha Ha you have to be the most pessimistic Swansea fan out there! If there were fans shouting "ML out!" then you are absolutely clueless and stupid! Dont base your opinion on what you read in the press or what you hear on MOTD because it is full of bollox. I had a debate today about the first Everton goal (hand ball) if that happened to a club like Man u, the match reports would be all about how the refs decision cost them the game and things like that but because it was us it was hardly mentioned.
for god sake this is a debate on laudrups first 5 games Its not about whether he should be sacked or not....Its about how you feel he has done so far.....Try and debate and give your views on how you see things. It warrants debate in the light of some away fans last night calling for him to go.....I have given my view and reasons why i come to that view and that is the jury is still out for me and i disagree with the fans calling for his head. I know some are very unhappy with his tactical experience so far and they do have a point.....Its a debate and not a slanging match and point scoring ffs....If your happy so far then say so and give your reasons and if you are not sure like me and many others then like me give your reasons.....there is too much of this going off topic rubbish that ruins a good debate or what is the point of being here...It has nothing to do with what i think its about what you think......
Last season with 9 games left we had 39 points and only took 8 points from 27 points. The writing was on the wall for this season and we were going to struggle,ML has recognised this and has tried to rectify things .Give the man time and he will do the job for us I'm sure !
Can't believe fans were shouting for ML out, then again we do have our fair share of Muppet's, and there were a few plastics that squeezed through the gates once we had won at Wembley, just look at the way they left the Liberty at 80 minutes, says it all! As for our losing games, well let's just take stock a second, we have lost Taylor, Chico, from our back line, Dwight Tiendalli was supposed to have replaced Taylor, but he's taken a knock in training, then add to that Britton who protects the back line has been out with a virus, and was not fully fit, then we get shafted by a bloody stupid ref, and see Dyer out too on a Red, so how come it's Laudrups fault? That reminds me what's happening with the French boy Darnel Situ? He's a centre back, that I would rather see in our back line before Tate, and then what's happening with Kyle Bartley ! Why buy these players, if we are not going to use them, or are they not up to Prem standard! One thing I do now though, we will be a laughing stock, if we play Tate or Monk............
Think people are probably a little bit worried by The Managers laid back manner. For some reason you like as a supporter to see them waving their arms and doing their nut when we are losing. Guess we have all [players and supporters] got to get used to his style and stand right behind him, whether we have concerns or not.
I will always give any manager my 100% support but you have to ask questions why we are not as effective in our passing as we were last season. Its nothing to do with players out as they all do the same training and when you disrespect tate and monk well thats unbelievable because they have more experience in the passing game than anyone....Stoke is going to be a big tester for us that we cant really afford to not get anything from but where i was very confident last season in keeping the ball i am not confident so far this season and that is what fans especially the dedicated ones who travel away even on a wet windy tuesday night can witness first hand.....Im hoping we will improve our ball retention and start scoring early goals and if we can do that then im sure we will be fine...If we don't and get out muscled by teams then we will be lucky to stay out of the relegation battle...and i dont want us to be there when there is £60 million up for grabs...
relegation battles will be part of our premier league experience for however long we are there thats just the way it goes for a well run club that wont throw money around. Dai, of course you will support the manager of that i have no doubt
Thanks Ash! Thought it was Tiendalli that took the knock in training, my mistake, though we are a bit unlucky with injuries to our back line this season, not what we want second season, though I'm sure we'll be fine. What's Dai on about relegation battles? is he predicting such? If he's worried to that level, the last thing we need is Tate, and Monk in there as well!.............
