Justin was playing for South Cave Veterans last time I spoke to him and Deano is now playing for Walkington Veterans(managed by Leigh Palin).
Last time i saw him around i believe he was playing for Vitoria in the Brazilian league and doing fairly well to i think.
After checking up on Geo, it turns out he's playing for some average Brazilian 2nd division team. Surely he's far better than that, he's a brilliant little player...
He's playing for América Mineiro from 2nd division in Brazil. Yesterday he was a sub and come on with 20 minutes to play. Lost all is pace and freekick tecnique. Shame really.
Anybody know what happened to Andy Payton, I read some stories that he went a bit off the rails but can't find links anywhere
Thanks for this, really interesting read. The one I didn't know about was Ryan France, a real shame he had to retire. That just leaves Myhill and Dawson still playing who represented us in all divisions
We didn't, she some how escaped from the cellar one night. I'm still trying to find out who was responsible.
Whittle is also the Postie in Elloughton - top man. We as a club seem to be the death knell for many players. I have always felt that, you have just reinforced it. Players never go on to better things, if anything they spiral downwards rapidly!
Its alright talking about where our ex players are now, but where were our present players on Sunday against Leicester. I turned up for the match, but I don't think most of them did.
Greg Abbott is manager at Carlisle and just popped up on the league cup show which incidentally has Deano as one of the posterboys on the opening credits and in the background of the studio
Saw Scott wiseman captain Barnsley when they stuffed Birmingham and he looked useful. Nice to see the likes of him and Donaldson go on to have decent careers.
I see Mike Edwards has rocked up at Carlisle on a free from Notts County. He has made a pretty decent career for himself. One of the better players we had in the wilderness years.
Alton Thelwell played for Carshalton Athletic (Ryman Premier, London & SE equivalent to Ferriby's league) in a FA Cup 2nd round qualifier against Chalfont St. Peter last weekend.
