Right, a big one up next considering how badly we through away the last one. The Tangerines have been a bit of a nemesis since they came twice from behind to beat us at Wembley two years ago and secure that year in the Premier League. Holloway has been able to seamlessly transform his team despite relegation and losing the Playoff final last year. Shrewd signings such as Matt Phillips and Tom Ince provide youth whilst the experience of Barry Ferguson and Kevin Phillips provide a good backbone to a dynamic fast team. Only ahead of us on goal difference this is going to be one of those season defining games as well as a tough one to predict. 2-1 City for me. Whitts and Smith C'mon City!
So tough to predict, this could 4-4 or a tame 1-0 to either side. Last twice i have predicted Whitts to score we have lost so im going for 2-1 Bluebirds Smith & Bellamy
The prediction league is bringing me down this year. After wallowing in the lower league, my rise towards the top of the premiership (so to speak), is keeping me awake at night. So much so I have tried to work out a formula for winning it. It started with the obvious theory that when the game kicks off if we had predicted 0-0,, we would all have a correct score and a correct result = equals four points. Then the degree of difficulty kicks in, if one teams scores that elimates at least half of us, another goal another band of fine people bite the dustâ¦.and so on. Some people are even getting the scorers correct and the results completely wrong, imagining winning it doing thatâ¦.and then â¦..and thenâ¦. Dom, get some sleep and get a life for fug sake!
Toughest game of the season. Holloway "out-managed" Malky in this fixture last year, and I'm very tempted to think he'll do it again. Big difference this time around is that Malky has a much better squad than last year. I know we only have 11 players on the pitch at any one time - let's hope it's the right ones to do the job. Fantastic contest in prospect and City to come out on top by the odd goal in 3. City 2-1 Blackpool with Bellamy getting a corker and an inevitable Whitts dead ball goal (don't care if it is a penalty, I'll take it )
Phew just made it home in time (I think ???- not early kick off is it ?) Ok lets have a fine 3-1 home win with 3 different scorers Whitts of course Bellers and Noone if its a own goal who gets the credit ? ....Maybe the guy with assist next to his name ? Cheers Mr Sheep & co
