Cant see Rodgers changing his thinking and tactics for the League Cup or Europa League unless we reach the latter stages, he knows the Prem is bread and butter to us and he knows thats got to be his and our top priority. Btw Mab i was only joking and i can see your point about your two league games either side of the tie, thing is will both managers want to get one over on eachother and play their strongest 11 or will 'both' play squad and youth players?, i'd go for the latter in our case.

kopite i can see laudrup going for gold for this game. Anfield and a chance to get into the quarter final and a chance to get into europe, if cardiff can reach a final there is no reason we can't give it a go this year,
I think most Liverpool fans will see it the same way Mabs and realise their league games are more important too. If it was a semi final them maybe we'd see full teams but not for the 4th round. It will turn out just to be an extra chance for our fans to give Rodgers stick that's all.
