With all the new players we have brought in. Would you be worried if you was Tony with 4 losses, 2 draws and 1 win in the first 7 games (2 in the cup)? I would.
He's spent an awful lot of money and I can't see him being happy at the moment No worries though cos Hughes has 'promised' us all that we won't ever be in a relegation position ever again.....
It took us a few managers before we got the right man in Warnock at championship level Maybe we are at a similar stage at a premiership level and need to go through a few before we get the right man.
Let's not get into that guessing game but I'm sure there are plenty who would love to manage a club in the prem who spend money
Sometimes managers are in the right place at the wrong time. Look at what Holloway has done at Blackpool, he was drinking in the last chance saloon career wisebut it just seems like he for some unknown reason fitted in with the club and has done well. Hughes doesn't seem to fit at loftus rd. Warnock was the right man for the club to get promotion. We need to find someone who can achieve what is needed in the premiership. It may not be a Harry or a proven manager but perhaps picking someone out of left field who fits in with Tony and "the project" Waffle I know. But I think the answer isn't as simple as the manager that fits on paper and in theory.
Am I the only one that doesn't want Hughes head of a plate? I feel we should at least give him till Christmas. After managers have gone we always talk about how the should have been given more time and maybe, as hard as it is, we should try and remove ourselves from our current situation. Saying that, we better win next Monday!
If I was Tony I would feel re-assured that things will come good. At least we're passing the ball to each other and looking good. That's something we didn't do last season. This result won't matter in the great scheme of things and a lot of comments and threads that have been posted on here tonight are in frustration because we didn't win. Of course not everything was rosy tonight but that will get addressed elsewhere. After watching tonights match, I'm certain that it will all click and we will come good. I try to avoid cliches like the plague, but Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will QPR. Hold firm fellow Rs, stand together, never fear or flounder. Our time is coming, all will be good soon.
They would probably only give him until Christmas IF we get 3 to 4 wins and can raise us above the relegation zone. But if we don't get at least a good win in the next month, Hughes will have to be gone.
Each time we lose, all the MH out brigade trot out with masses of rhetoric and little forethought. If we remove MH, it will be back to square one - new manager, new coaching team, new players, new formations, MORE settling in time, less consistency and strategy for the club. Is that what we need?? Time to stick with it. We've had much tougher times than this. Everyone needs to stick together, support the club, manager and team and we will come through. We are improving as a team, and there are plenty of positives (if you care to look for them) to look forward to the future. I'm as disappointed as anyone about last night (including MH). But we have to move on, pick our heads up and focus on beating West Ham. I'm sure it's made a little bit harder now - but we will get there soon.
