Starting 11 for Reading?

I'd personally play the same back four that's played recently. Colo was off the pace tonight. Captain or not, after that display, he still needs time.

Tiote shouldn't start either.

From tonights game, I'd actually start the exactly same side that played against Norwich.

Ba-----Cisse-----Ben Arfa

--------Cabaye----------

---Jonas------Perch-----

Santon--Willo--Saylor--Anita

----------Harper-----------

Or a slightly different formation. W/E

 

Yep I'd go with that but it'll be 4-4-2

 

4-4-2 for me, with Ba & Cisse both on the goal trail then makes sense to have them both up top.

I'd go:

Harper

Anita, Taylor, Perch, Santon

HBA, Cabaye, Tiote, Jonas

Ba & Cisse

 

HBA could have made a difference.

 

The good thing about us is, no matter what 11 you put out, the formation will always change in the game.

 

this.... think Pardew definitely should have taken him.

 

oh and Tiote will be starting v Reading.

 

Not sure if that's necessarily a good thing... The players may have mental lapses and forget to take certain players while defending because of the constant tinkering..

 

Will be pretty much those players in a 442/433 style. Maybe Tiote on for Perch.

 

I see Colo over Willo, who's played 5 games in 2 weeks.

 

Willo and Perch could do with a rest. Both looking drained.
Depends how Colo is fairing, didn't Pards say something like he had a knock in the post match interview?

If Tiote isnt ready I'd go with Bigi in midfield and if Colo isn't ready maybe Perch at cb.

If Tiote doesn't start the game I'd expect Anita to start in his place.
