I have a weekend off on the 26th to the 28th and the City game is away at Bristol City. As it's a ground I haven't been to I'm definitely interested in going BUT don't know the cost. Did anyone go last year by coach? If so how much did it cost overall? :)

Probably; but I really fancy going. Just want to know how much to set aside :). I'm going to a fair few grounds I've never been to before this year!

Despite going to most games, I've somehow managed to miss Brizzle away every season, so it would be a ground tick for me.

We normally get televised games that are either at home or not all that far away, a 450 mile round trip seems a bit bonkers for a game that's on telly.

    I'm in two minds.

definately go. apart from the flag waving kids as the teams walk on, Bristol City is one of those 'proper' football match experiences that stil exists

I'll be going. Last season I noticed that it's a rather shabby old ground, with odd backless seats in the away end. Interesting, but worth a visit.

In 2 minds with Bristol City away. Been to Ashton gate more times than i care to mention over the years and never seen us win there even back in 2008. Withit being on sky tv Live i may just give it a miss. Tough decision though.

Bye the way, Brizzle have just signed on loan until 27th December 2012....Elokobi from Wolves.

I lived in Bristol for 4 years, roaringtiger and one of his sisters were born there much to his shame. Used to go to Ashton Gate occasionally as we were too far to make the homage back to boothferry park (at the time). Id deffo recommend it and if you could stretch to a cheap travelodge room or something then it's a great night out! I'll be back watching it on sky teasing roaringtiger about his wurzel non-Hull pedigree.

It's quite possibly the worst game of the season.

Poznan, drums, goal music, everything that is ****.

Agreed. The whole experience of going into that ground make one's skin scrawl.
