As a youngster in Newcastle Airport going on holiday i met the Benfica team including Eusebio. I still have the autographs including Eusebio which he put on a postcard photo of himself. Also once met Shaka Hislop shopping with his wife in Fenwicks looking as bored as me.

Does jamming with Noddy Holder, and also performing with Ruby Murray count?

She was the Madonna of the 50s. had loads of hits in the charts at the same time. I think madonna broke her record, or at least matched it. <ok> Great singer, even in the 80s when I did a gig with her.

That must have been both emotional and entertaining.

    Didn't actually mean musically.

Several times going home to Scotland, Tony Green(Legend) used to get the same train home, he used to go back to Glasgow. He used to speak to all the fans on the train, just an ordinary guy. After a while he got me tickets for the games, said i spent enough getting down to Newcastle. Still a hero in my eyes.

Was a brilliant week there. The underground hospital was quite something else to see. Could almost have gone back in time.

We were well looked after. Grolsch on tap....happy days.

I met Asprilla a few months ago at a Talk in, I almost knocked him out, he was behind a door probably having a look to see how many people had turned out to see him, I didn't realise he was there and burst through the door and he had to jump out of the way. All the guys having their photographs taken with him practically had him in a bear hug, he and I leant well away from each other for our photo! <laugh>

I've had a run in (almost literally) with Tim Krul as he was heading into the RVI and I was heading out. He's a lot taller than he looks from our seats...

Met Stevie Taylor at a signing at Grainger Games too.

Me and TheJPF have also spotted Pardiola and Saylor through a fence and an open window at the Hartlepool game if that counts <laugh>

I use to dj for an agency and appeared at various top events

remember Alan Snell at the Ramside Hall, he was pissed before he started...

said to me " if you want to get on in showbiz just watch me, if I forget my lines ............................just play some f*****g music "

I didn't know if he was joking or not <laugh>
