I have been clearing out one of my rooms and found a shield with the words "East Riding Amateur League Junior Cup 1991-1992". After looking on a web-site I discovered that the Champions for that date were Greatfield Old Boys. After making contact with the secretary of this league, I was told that the runners-up were Maritime S.R. and their secretary at the time was Joe Bennie from Bilton Grange. I am at a loss as to why this is in my possession. As many of you have much local football information, maybe someone can shed some light on this mystery!!!
I shall need more evidence!! As you always seem so knowledgeable I thought you would have the answer!!! Go to it scooterman!!!
