One result on its own isn't too much to laugh about.... But they have not looked impressive even once this season. They need to improve quickly if they expect to be challenging for the title. Arsenal imo look a better team.

Meh, it's the Carling Cup or whatever it's called nowadays. Doubt Tevez and co were particularly impressed with being selected in the first place.
Some of them played like they were too big for the carling cup as well,really pisses me off when the opposition want it more regardless of what competition the games played in.Still 28000 people paying hard earned money to watch them stroll about
That's the problem with having so many big name players on the books. Let's be honest they're at City for money and to win trophies but not the League Cup. Your kids would have run themselves into the ground for City and probably got the same result but Tevez and Balotelli didn't start at the weekend so it made sense for them to start yesterday or they risked going a sustained period without first team football. However, no doubt they were thinking that they were too good to be playing for the "reserve" team.
They need to go out and spend more of someone else's money, that they haven't earnt and don't deserve, so they can claim any subsequent improvement in their side is a massive achievement.
perhaps we should rip off our supporters in the name of sustainability and take the football club away from the working man like you lot at the Emirates? You moan about our £30 million a year naming rights, thats the same as your club are ripping off your supporters man city average season ticket price approx £550 arsenal ave approx £1350 Understanding the difference in standard of living in london say £750 as an average as being a fair price still works out as ripping off £36 million a year off your own fans Or is that "earned" money?
