After yet another red card tonight, how many more chances does Lee deserve??Should he be kept on as club captain or dropped? In my opinion, this is Martin's first real problem. What does everybody think should happen? Is Lee a liabilty or a true club captain??

Varies from game to game! Usually good, but the nutter is never far from the surface...

Not seen the challenge so can't comment on tonight but I know how much we miss him when he doesn't play so club captain for me. We need Jim. Colback isnt anywhere near as good. Maybe he can prove me wrong in the next 3 games.

I guess the lad just has a temper problem & gets the red mist early, a bit like myself.

Seriously though, Bardsley captain all day for me.

Total commitment & 100% effort in every game.

I've not seen anyone so committed to the cause since Bally.

Haven't seen it, but from what Gary Bennett is saying on radio, it was a definite red. Lost control of the ball and over ran it, stretched and went in over the top (where have I heard that before?). 3 game ban- Wigan, Man City & Magscum. One too many reds for me now, will he ever ****in learn??

he's both.

since o'neill's come in, he's been by and large fantastic - he was up there with o'shea for man of the match against west ham.

only shortcoming is he has a short fuse and doesn't always think things through.

I think the think is though mate, how many chances does he deserve?

I agree he has been our best player this season but he's a complete liability, plain and simple.

This.

Not 3 hours ago we were saying how good he's been, anyone can get a red card, or make a rash challenge, just because he has doesn't mean he's reverted to type, it may have just been a badly timed challenge.

I will wait till I see it.

Well said bonny lad. <ok>

Just posted we should lynch him, after all he has been one of the only players to show any heart and play well this season.
But bloody hell having the nerve to get carded!!!
He should be excommunicated and castrated.

catt's is a liability, but he's nothing like barton. barton is a vicious thug who wants to hurt people and hides his nastiness behind a short temper, whereas catts is an overeager idiot who doesn't help himself, and genuinely has a short temper.

I was thinking that when you posted earlier lol

BUT a Captains responsibility is to lead & stay on the pitch regardless of what’s going on around him. Decisions will always go both ways but I’m afraid that he’s got his number now marked.
Therefore having been sent straight off in a mid-week cup tie I'm afraid he MUST now loose the armband but not place a in the squad to a cooler head.

Is it a coincidence, just like at Swansea, that we score our goals after Catts leaves the pitch? I would never question his effort and commitment, but his creativity ability is somewhat lacking in my opinion, and the team is better as an attacking unit when he is not in the team.

Would that be our DEFENSIVE MFer you speak of Reg?
So you blame Catts for our attacking MF and forwards not doing the business?
