ok i've been doing exactly the same thing as what i'm doing now 10 years ago. not just this week!! or last week. 10 years ago i lost money because i was stupid, once i won the first race i would get a buzz from it, and bet outside the system, and lose. but now i cannot do that because the software does 90% of the work for me, and my discipline at sticking at 1 winner a day.

There is no system Sam. Of course the software will work all year round. It does a calculation and places the bet based on a parameter you supply.

The selection of races is not a system either because you hand pick the races and all races have first and second favs. **** knows what the software will do if there are 3 co favs or 2 jt second favs.

What you have here is a betting strategy based on your judgement as to what races to bet on. Nothing wrong with that but it ain't a system.

This is the best explanation of what is actually going on. Its not a system at all. Taking the top 2 in the betting is not a system. There are no possible criteria out there that will fit the favourite/second favourite in every case barring the fact they are at the head of the betting. It has nothing to do with horse form, trainer form etc. In one race you could have 2 debutants being the top two in the market and there are many more variables in that.

As Ron says its a betting strategy, not a system. I think your fooling yourself if you think it is a system. Still waiting for money to be asked to change hands though

Shall we re-kindle the discussion with my very own recently-developed, and totally unwanted, system? Must be the last three or four months or so (more is it, sorry?) that I have found a system for locating regular losers. You say, so what? Well, I feel sure that the plan can be expanded to include 2 or 3 horses in a race, and these can be extracted from readers' race calculations. This could well be a really useful tool in finding horserace winners?
We sometimes see the comment 'ones to avoid' from members, before giving selections. Well, it seems I have developed this to a fine art, and little or no expensive software is needed.

Crashed due to too much traffic. You wouldn't be hosting this website yourself on your old Z80 would you Sam?
