Bridge is past it, we are building a young hungry team. Why would we sign a over the hill Lb?.

Boruc - good signing. He dominates the area like Peter Schmeicel used to. He`s a bad loser, and bollocks his defenders when they need it. Prone to the occasional blunder, but who isn`t ? He`s oder and wiser than when he was at Celtic, and I would expect him to be established as No1 before long.

I still remember his West Ham debut when he got slaughtered by Walcott. It was like Ali Dia all over again.

Congratulations on getting one of the best keepers in the world.........

You might also have the worst keeper in the world.

If he has his head right, you will love him.

Used to watch him for Celtic when the SPL was actually entertaining, he was normally getting right in one of the defenders ears whenever the camera was on him, could be what we need.

Yep, a total rocket. You'll love him.

Genuinely when he is on his game he is amongst the best in the world. He ended up getting lazy with us but I won't let that sour just how good he was.

I remember when Boruc was a top, top keeper at Celtic. He was one of the best keepers in the world at the time.

Hopefully, he can play as good as he did back then, now for the saints.

Played football this evening and one of my mates said how sh!t Gazzaniga was yesterday, said how he was at fault for Villa's goal.

Another fact about him is that he is a Pompey fan...

    This is a legitimate <doh> moment... ;)

Gazzaniga could of saved Bent's shot...if he had 10 foot long arms.

You could throw at Gazziniga that he should have taken charge of the situation. You could have thrown that at any of the ball watching players the ball happened to be passing on its bouncy way to Bent. You could argue that since Fox was covering Bent, he should have got to the ball first. You could argue a lot of things. Villa scored. Bit late to argue the point really.

To be honest, I forgive all three players who were closely involved. 1 - Fox. He was struggling and couldn't track Bent. 2 - Yoshida. He's new and perhaps isn't quite au fait with the protocol yet. 3 - Gazziniga. First PL game and may have thought he was going to be covered better by his defenders. Hey..! We won, and there's another week until Everton. I'm sure Adkins has looked at that goal against from all angles and the players now know who takes charge.

Is RLGB particularly keen on our Jason then..?

Actually thought Clyne's tackle, immediately prior to Puncheon passing the ball away, was a beaut.

    Jason is English so probably!

And it was. The reaction of the crowd was something special - "YES CLYNE GREAT TACK-oh what the **** Puncheon you absolute clown."

Ah, that pot is still simmering. ;)

Yes, there was a reaction, as the tackle went in. You could hear it over the radio. Very fast and cleanly won.

Well, easy for me to say told you so, but i will anyway. Cant remember the guys that were knocking me & others saying Davis is to stay & was last years keeper of the season etc etc. He aint good enough.END OF. Not enough prescence and makes poor decisions. Now there are two other keepers pushing for the place and you wont see much of him now. I know he has been a great servant but this is the top league and you have to wake up & smell the coffee lads.
