Dundonald man I believe? Christ, Hoilett had a glorious chance near the end but took a half hour to straighten himself up. Should've buried it.
Nice to hear the commentary stating we were basically all over them and then the famous QPR luck kicks in! Onwards and upwards. We will get there, injuries permitting!
Think you're right Belfast, but equally it doesn't look like he got much of a man-on shout and he wasn't to know that Vertongen (spelling?) was sprinting out of his skin to get back and make the block. With hindsight he should have chanced the snap shot with the left foot but I've seen so many scenarios like that where a striker has actually had the time to put it on his preferred foot and stroke it past the keeper at his leisure that we can't really blame him for trying to take it onto his favoured right foot.
Nonsense. He wanted half the day to straighten himself up. Can't do that in the Premier League. He messed up, pure and simple.
He aint did you not see his volley in the first half when he took it on his chest then volleyed it with his left foot only for freidel to make a great save. he should have it hit it first time with his left.
I did indeed. It was sublime. Why didn't he go with his left the second time? Ah well, its all coming together. I think West Ham could be our game. And its on SKY!!!
At 5am, great!!! Although that is slightly more amenable than 1am (this morning) when you have a 6am start for work... Can't wait for the highlights, although the result wasn't ideal, sounds like we are worth watching just now...exciting times!! btw. I reckon we are 2 points behind where I thought we might be at this stage (I had predicted a Swansea win and Chelsea defeat) and have us getting 5 points from the next 3 games.
There's something about so many of these BBC presenters that grates, I'm sure their producers sit there saying 'Now who can we get that really pisses people off but ticks our diversity boxes?' He's a smug bastard...
Very. You were right when you said the BBC just go for box-ticking when picking these presenters. Regional accents are a must, being part of a minority helps and having no knowledge of football is a necessity. What next, a woman presenter? Oh wait. Gabby Logan and the bird on the Football League Show. That's another box ticked.
I thought he was too or at least hes comfortable enough on it, which makes his decision to dwell on the ball even more strange.
