1) Amos without a doubt. Made 2 great saves from 1-on-1s. 2) Quinn. Really hard to pick.an outfielder today, they all made stupid errors but Quinn was better than most. 3) Simpson. Wasnt even that good(gave the ball away a lot) but hegets 3rd for the goal, once again proving hes our man when it flashes across the face of goal.
You only dropped me off ten minutes ago Gooch how are you posting already Chester Faye Amos I actually can't think of a third off the top of my head so i just went with Amos who i felt really sorry for as it was down to the poor midfield that we was so poor, have to amdit i am disappointed after that performance today, as Leicester out ran, out battled, well just performed better than us.
Your man of the match was Amos. Made 2 world class saves from Vardy. Although Vardy should have scored both
1) Chester - made a number of great tackles although he may have been at fault for their 2nd, I'd need to see it again to be sure. 2) Amos - Made some good saves even if his distribution was a little off the pace. 3) Aluko - Difficult to pick 3rd, was tempted to go Prozzy as I think he looked sharp when he came on but I thought Aluko was probably the most promising of our midfielders.
For the 2nd it wasnt Chester's fault. Koren got turned inside out by Knockaert, had Nugent not headed it in then Wes Morgan would have
Quinn, the only one of the midfield prepared to graft and get a foot in. take 2 from Bruce Faye and Chester. All 3 battled hard made crucial tackles. No support whatsoever from the midfield or Elmo.
1. Quinn - to be honest the only creativity we had the whole game. They man marked Koren and Aluko. 2. Chester - Brilliant yet again, with skill! 3. Alex Bruce/Dudgeon - Hard to choose between the two; both put their arses on the line and made some crunching tackles. Well done to both. IMO yes Amos made one or two very good saves but that was his worst game by a country mile. Does anyone think that if his distribution had been better we just may have had more chances?! On another side note... nice to see Proschwitz actually put himself about!
Quinn Chester Aluko I would have put Amos in, but he fell over for the first goal and his kicking was awful.
To be fair to Amos, he seemed to be following the way the inital shot was going, but Nugent had stopped it going through, trapped it and tapped it in the other side of him. Kicking aside i thought he played all right amd was under more pressure than their keeper.
I wasn't suggesting he was poor, I thought I had a good game overall, I was just pointing out why I didn't put him in my top three.
1) Chester 2) Amos 3) Quinn NB. If Proschwitz late header had gone in to make it 2-2 he would have got 3rd spot. Lol. Fine margins eh.?
