what was awesome today was the play control passing movement pressing, I think someone other than borini and we'd have been up a goal sooner. He was the weak link in an otherwise great starting lineup today.

We overran out fought out passed and out muscled last years runners up. They know we got mugged, we know, the world fukcing knows but in the end I was entertained by a great performance <ok>

We need to spend to big Bucks in jan on a proven striker who can hold up the ball and finish. Any young drogba's out there who might be available.?
Suarez will never get a penalty unless they chop both his legs off and even then you better hope that Halsey and Webb are not refereeing.

Suarez should maybe have had a penalty and when he got booked for diving last week there was contact and generally accepted he should not have been booked, Valencia was not touched, Oscar was diving for fun yesterday and Kagawa goes down very easily

Unlucky Liverpool, the ref had three big decisions to make and got all three wrong.

I suppose all the united fans will be saying that these decisions even there selves out over the season, what a load of bollox.

You mean the one where Evans kicked Suarez's foot? The one your beloved Gary Neville just admitted was a definate pen as he got nothing on the ball? It's hard enough to score 11 v 11, hell even 10 v 11 but when it's 10 v 12 well you're a bit stuck really.

Can't wait to see when Fergie retires and the new manager doesn't have as much influence over the refs if the United fans will then start complaining...

Forget buying a new striker, you guys need to break the bank and splash out on Halsey from ManU.

Oh so Gary Neville says it was a pen so it was a pen?

    Erm no.

It was a dive, end of. Wasnt the first Suarez tried either.

    My take on the decisions

    Shelvey - yellow

    Evans - red

RVP - yellow (red in the context of Shelvey)

Suarez incident - harsh decision but there was contact; could have been a penalty

Valencia incident - penalty, harsh but it's a penalty

The only thing Suarez did wrong was to roll about a bit theatrically. He got up and challenged Lindegaard pretty much straight away.

Nah, I mean Jonny Evans wasnt sent off for a similar tackle against Bolton 2 years ago. It never happened. The clip SKY showed of it was clearly a CGI image.

    Well done you <ok>

It looks like Halsey has earned to right to some jiggy jiggy tonight. Who will do the honours? Will it be Stacey Giggs, Cathy Ferguson or Coleen Rooney that he gets to shag.

This was always going to happen after Ferguson made his ''I've only got 1 penalty at Anfield in 27 years'' comment yesterday.
