Slev thinks no United players bar RVP would get in the Liverpool side. One Liverpool fan already called him on it and I suspect more will. Delusional.
Hope the team can have a good performance today and come away with the win but will be tough i reckon as Liverpool do like to raise their games against us hence us not being able to get a win at their ground since December 2007 so hopefully that will change today.
Whats up with De Gea? Injured? Also Giggs starting!!! And Rafa at the back is a risk, as he's very erratic, usually in big games too.
No idea SKY. Fergie seems hell bent on switching keepers each game. Back to the Carroll and Howard days
Very strange if De Gea is fit and he's not starting, he's on form, to be honest he's a ****ing class keeper (and I was one of the ones who used to rip the piss out of him). Is he on the bench? If he is then Fergie's finally gone crazy. On the subject of Fergie, he has gone up hugely in my opinion of him over the last week or so. He's still a ****, but a likeable **** - same category as Berb's in.
Lindegaard hasn't put a foot wrong after he started in goal since De Gea was dropped when he made that blunder with Vidic scoring an own goal so Lindegaard deserves his chance.
His kicking is awful alan and that for me constitutes a mistake. Hes nowhere near as good as De Gea and while hes a decent keeper he should only ever be back up. De Gea was brilliant midweek and the mistake was partly Vidic's ( the captain ffs ) fault. De Gea should never of been dropped for it. Such a shame Fergie seems to want to stutter De Geas progress. Hes already the best shot stopper in the league imo. His reflexes are mental and the only way he will learn to command his area is by playing........which hes not doing.
Come on now? Friedel, Vorm, Krul, Mignolet, Cech, Hart, Lloris and even Reina are better shot stoppers. Not a reflection on De Gea - it's clearly his strength, but there are a lot of better keepers.
The flip side is that - Should he make a mistake today... He will be hounded like never before.. Better for him to learn things in games that aren't so critical and high-profile... I can understand this decision.. Lindergaard is older, and probably has slightly more maturity, but still less mental baggage... And if worst comes to worst and Lindergard cocks up.. He's not our long term option. These games aren't the time and place for "learning". I hope, though, that De Gea get's a long run after todays game..
I think he is, or at worst right up there. Dont rate Cech or Reina anymore. Both have had their day and its all down hill for them. Friedel is great but he wouldnt of made the 2 saves de gea made midweek in my opinion. Hes near enough double his age and agility wont be his friend anymore. Interestingly enough De Gea ranked behind Hart and Vorm last season in terms of best keepers. Thats including his poor start. In the second half of the season he ranked as the best.
No idea. Hes been awful this season and doesnt have the legs for CM in games like this. Fingers crossed he has one of those games where he goes back in time.
Him and Carrick got played off the park last time (3-1).. However we have a stronger line up this time... No Wes Brown in defence, and RVP and Kagawa replacing Berba and Rooney. But then last year we had 62 percentage possesion in the FA cup here with Giggs and Carrick. Can still see Liverpool diminating the first half, and us having to dig in abit. Our foward line is scary though, and that could be the difference.
