here's to a good performance and a result today... we've an awful lot of improvement to do but here's hoping we can show more of the city performance.
Rodgers has said he's happy with the "steel" of the players. So that's good, then, as long as nobody brings Uri Geller along with them.
It's all work in progress, I really dont think we can properly judge BR untill he has a settled team of his choice, could be 12-18 months away. But ive seen enough yo buy into his style and ethos. The blooding of these youngsters this season will only be felt next season o.ward's and is priceless more of the same please Brendan. Score draw I think today although I certainly won't be crying if we're narrowly beat due to bad finishing.
We need a top performance and I think we'll get it. It has the makings of a great game and a terrific atmosphere. Lets hope its us collecting the three points.
big games are easy to be up for and play safe in too but if things go wrong then thats when steel as rodgers says comes in... not seen much of it really.. would like to see it from the off every game.. its for thier wages! it matters.... I just have my fingers crossed today.
