    Villarreal were relegated, as you know, and they took a fantastic striker with them. Good pace, fantastic skill on the ball, fantastic finisher. Not really immense physically; he's not strong or very good in the air, but he could fit into our
    style of play very well.

    Plus, he's left footed. He could play on the right wing, cutting in on his left, if we wanted to really push for a goal, or if we didn't have a quality right winger available.

    The club that he was closed to signing for was Roma.

    I'd personally go for him. He's not young, but he's not old either. 25 years old.

    Fantastic ability. Not the most immense scoring record, but he's hardly been to a great club yet, and he deserves a chance at a good club.

    I'd love to see him here.

    If his knee was sorted it would be a no brainer. The worry is what you'd be getting after two consecutive cruciate injuries and a year and a half out of the game.

    We may not be his favourite club given that when he was here previously we never played him. Good player but with his injuries he's not what we need.

    I have never liked him...never did impress me when he was with us as well... Seems to me like he's Owen Ver. II.

    Ability wise yes without a doubt, never saw the best of him during his time here. But as other people have pointed out what would the price be?, what would his wage demands be? and Is he going to be fit?

    Think he was given a tough time here, only got thrown on late in games last 20 mins or so. I still think he should've played a lot more than he did but Roeder was too scared to throw him in. We had option to buy back then too right?
