BUT if once we score we just shot everyone behind the ball and hoof it back to them then sooner or later the opposition are going to score and it happened yet again today.

I would of taken a draw before the game but after having the lead for so long its more like 2 dropped than 1 gained. I have spoken about us seriously needing a central midfielder who can grab hold of the game and drive us up the pitch, dictate the play and drag us over the line and today was another of those days that a player of that description would of gotten us over that finish line with the 3points.

We have had a bellow par start so far IMO and we seriously need a win firstly in the Cup and definitely next week.

When your ball retention is as bad as ours was today serious questions have to be asked about our cm's.

The old question of Colback/Cattermole combination can be brought back to debate

What would a midfielder who can retain possession be able to do when our defenders and goalkeeper just launch it at any opportunity. the reason we are pants is because as soon as we take the lead we defend on our penalty spot and our midfielders stand on our own 18 yard line and invite teams to have shot after shot cross after cross and law of averages say that eventually the other team will scoreand its halpend the last 3 games. its getting boring now and i hope we sign mcfadden just so we can drop mcclean to the bench and get a bit of competition going for left wing

I was at the match, Catts was immense, a true captains perfomance.
It's hard to criticise fletcher as he scored again, but he had 2 brilliant chances and it seemed he just froze in front of goal with ball at his feet. A deserved point but really disappointed.
