Couldn't see a thread for this so apologies if there is one but is anyone watching Being Liverpool tonight? Due to start in a minte on channel 5. Interested to see what it's like - could be a massive hit, or have rival fans taking the piss.
good so far, nothing more or nothing less than I'd expect from a series of extended interviews on LFC TV etc. Media must be hating the fact there is nothing to jump on
Loved that little chat with flanno about doing what ur best at and bombing forward isn't what he's there to do. If nothing else this doco is giving me a feel good factor (might also be all the cans I've sunk as well) but I think BR is going to do wonders. BUT it won't happens over night
Pacheco picks up a baseball. "What is this?" It's a ball... Wacthing this makes me wish I had the talent to be a footballer, just enjoying the banter, looks a proper laugh!
US viewing figures http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/20...miere-posts-impressive-ratings-on-fox/149640/ Twitter is also reacting very positively.
A bit glossy and not a fan of heavy music over the training sessions. Nice to see some of the banter that goes on and interesting to see just how quick a player is signed after a medical
I thought it was very good to see the inner workings of the club, it was light entertainment and had a nice feel about it. The only downside was the lengthy bit by Clive Owen at the end, it went on a bit and started to get a bit cringey...but all in all a good watch!
We have had our differences in the past Kyle but all is forgiven, at least you have an opinion and a brain. The nonsense on our board at the moment is beyond any kind of banter. Anyway not going to hang around as it will turn into the usual abuse.
Could ave been worse, nice motor, I dont know why these Porsche 4 doors get such bad press ! I think they look mint.
It is was just very clean and interesting, nothing to create headlines about or worry about. Thought meeting the red sox was awkward. I think it is a good watch for all football fans for an insight into the runnings of a club, other than the chavs that is, they are run completely different.
anyone know if they follow the club for the whole season, or was it just a pre season thing? cheers would be good to see what goes on behind the scenes after league games, esp after playing utd with us hopefully getting the right result.
It feels too much like some PR puff for Fenway. All the Happy Families and the duff psycho-philosophy (vision/behaviours etc) may play well to a US audience that wants to learn more about a English football club, but I can't imagine Shanks endorsing all that kind of soft-lens stuff. As for Clive Owen's speech at the end - who writes this ****? GKRK
To be honest it felt like propaganda for people sitting on the fence/new to football. However it was still quite intereting in places - the Gerrard family bit and generally behind the scenes stuff was good.
I felt it was like the first programme of a TV series where the first episode is all about setting the foundations for future viewing
