I can't imagine he's getting a massive wage in Oz which makes it a bit confusing why he couldn't get a club here.
He'll more than likely settle a little further North from Newcastle, as the country side around Coffs Harbour is magnificent. Living in the sub tropics
I really dont get this. I was, as we all were, reliably informed the only thing stopping Heskey from coming here was his mrs didnt want to move from Cheshire. This just doesnt add up, unless, nah he couldnt he wouldnt be.................
Heskey is not the first footballer to do what the wife wants. Now he turned down Hull and Blackpool as his misses wanted to stay in the midlands. Birmingham ffs, so its hardly a surprise that an all expenses paid year in OZ has been taken up. The plus point is that Heskey would not fit into the Hull City team now. He is too slow and we are so fast and quick. We cannot even find a starting spot for £2.6m of striker nevermind a PL freebee. Good luck Hesks in Oz. Enjoy the lifestyle. No pressure.
