Good luck with that sooper. A couple of weeks ago I got my bike out of the shed to go to and from a job where parking was going to be a nightmare. I've had this bike for nearly 25 years - since I was 11! It's far from modern, weighs a ton and I have to keep it to the middle 6 gears or else the chain falls off. Point is, its ****ing brilliant. You go up hills thinking - strong legs, strong lungs, strong heart and you go downhill praying this ain't the time the front wheel packs in but feeling like Eddie the eagle Edwards. Sooper, get yourself a hi-vis, a full face crash helmet, some Lycra shorts and a rucksack to put your suit in, then go look in the shed to see if your childhood bike is still there. You'll love it.
Sooper, congrats with the new job. The OP is actually scary to read, it's so similar to myself it's uncanny! Just started in a new job myself a couple of weeks ago after going six months looking for something new to do, have also come to the conclusion that I've become a fat bastard and to lazy to do something about it. Must be my gym's best customer, happy payer but non user. Annoying as I used to be quite fit in my days. Guess the solution is single life, have to get out of this marriage thingy, maybe that would give me the needed kick up the behind...
Yeh but, yeh but... cool in my own (saggy) skin - and living on the memories of my time(s) with Uber!!
Good luck in the new job Sooper. I will decline the opprotunity to tll scary stories of my own personal decline
That maccas at 2am sat night prob didnt help mate !!! Good luck soopa..give me a yell if u need some help..I've just dropped 9 kilo's in 3 weeks.....Coke is expensive out here though !! lol Shut it Cerny !!
Good luck with the job sooper, the quickest way to lose three stone of ugly fat is to chop yer head off.
The good thing is your are going in to work fat, and they will only know you as fat. If you want to lose weight, then do so......Hussar! If you do not want to lose weight, you'll be one of the fat guys at work (every company has a few) It's up to you really, but remember it's not what you wear on the outside that makes you, it's how many pints you can take at lunchtime and go back to your desk and how soon you fall asleep. Either way mate, best wishes and hope you make new friends at work.
