Cider all year round. Forget those poncy ales with names like 'Rotting Rat's Arse' and don't confuse ****e like Carling with proper largers eg Leffe.

 

Have to give you that, American Ales are great Anchor Steam Beer, Goose Island IPA both very good.

Anyone else puzzled when you see cans of Smart Price lager that have been drunk even though they now cost the same as most other single cans of lager?

Do people enjoy drinking that sort of ****e?

was in germany last week all week.... wokring hard mind you on my howard wallowitz style project.

got handed a bottle of schnapps (home brew apple and pear) from someone whom i had along and bought dinner for on the comanies money.

Question; as its got no % proof and his own label should i:

a) drink it

b) strip paint with it

c) give to ref this sunday so he goes blind and misses a pen or two on utd

d) stick a rag in it and use as molotov cocktail when utd team bus arrives?

 

You can't drink leffe all night though.. It's just posh tenants super.. It's like drinking treacle.. Drinking lager just bloats you all them bubbles..

That said I had a night out the other Saturday to my mates poncey restaurant.. Had six pints of estrella three tequilas then got on the rum an ginger. Had to drink estrella as that's the only stuf on tap.


Luv re the yank beer I liked the one an not the other.. Can't remember which way round though.. They also had some fizzy ale which was strangely nice..

 

I have Austrian friends and have tried loads of homemade schnaaps, always good stuff so drink away.

Not a big fan of Leffe. Much prefer 1664 if I'm drinking larger. Haven't had much in a while tho' - getting into Belhaven now I'm properly up norf.

 

The little red and white stumpy cans of Kronenburg are nice, only ever seen them in France.

Its great stuff, lovely with coke. One drink that is very hard to get drunk on is gin. I know people that spent the night on gin and were out with others drinking other drinks, and the ones drinking the gin were stone cold sober. This was whilst the others drinking the other stuff were all drunk. They were drinking for hours on end.
