Heads up all, we were never going to go out and win all the matches between March and the end of the season. One more decent result and we will be above Sheffield and only one more team to catch. There is a good ,positive attitude from the management and players and they are giving their all. Keep the faith, keep believing, I don't know how the season will end but it's so refreshing to see the commitment and effort being shown on the field and they deserve for us to keep behind them .
Hi!! finneyfan. You are correct of course, I think that some Northenders maybe got a wee bit carried away with our recent good wins and better form. You don't become a top team overnight just like you dont become a bad team overnight. We have shown a considerable improvement over several games now but every game is like a cup tie in this division, and is up for grabs. We are still fire fighting and searching for points and last nights fixture was about as tough as it gets, and particularly when a team is in PNE's position. As long as everyone gives their all there will be no complaints from me and that is all you can reasonably ask for. We are not down as yet and you never know what is round the corner in football, we like the club have to remain positive but realistic in what we expect the team to achieve. Portsmouth are next on the agenda and it will be another tough game as they all are in this division, I hope that we can grab all three points in this one and get back on the winning run..
If we win them all we have 55 points which means staying up, just have to win them all....................
Sorry to see your relegation confirmed today, all the best for next season. Some good outing in League One to be fair, nice to see some other grounds once in a while. Just remember, you're only on loan in League One....
Hull City fan here - I'm also sorry to see relegation confirmed. Lets be honest - it was an impossible task to ask of any manager to keep you up but Brownie is your man. Stick with him and you will bounce straight back. Good luck fellas - you'll be back soon. Regards.
With Phil Brown in charge you will end up in division 2.. get shut of tango man before its to late...
Ahhh well, hard to find any positives at the moment. Down, but not out, new grounds to visit, just wonder what sort of a team we will be able to put out, time for the kids to have a go maybe ? We definately need players that want to play for the shirt, not the wage packet. Thought I'd drown my sorrows last night but couldn't even raise the enthusiasm to do that LOL. Be interesting to see who plays for the last two games as we are already preparing for life in league 1.
Sad to see you Down. Just Like us. Time for the Kids, is the Right Way. Our Youth Set up is Good, since we have been putting them in, Results have Changed. Winning at Reading, did not see that Coming. If Leeds had Helped, we could have done it. Should have used Kids a bit Sooner, but the Damage had been Done. Will see you next Season, Keep the Faith.
