I dunno if anyone noticed the mag players wearing their 'ryan taylor over the wall'. shirts. I think it's a very rare case of pro footballers taking the mick out of their rivals. Hopefully it is a case of no need of the team talk as they have done it for us. Disrespectful in the extreme.

For all we know, it could refer to an RT attempt to break out of NUFC :)

All it shows is how much they think about Sunderland really. They say we are obsessed with them etc then do that. Did we have 'Rico through the wall tshirts?

His nickname was "Ryan Taylor over the wall" long before he scored a free kick against you lot, due to him always scoring against us when he played for Wigan. Can see most of you are aware of that but jeez, NMG and Parker, seriously <doh>

There was never track suits with that written on though. I personally would use it as a team talk.

Because this is the first time he's been out injured for the season. It was just a tribute to Taylor IMO, I personally didn't see it as any sort of slant on Sunderland. As stated it was his nickname long before last years derby.

Even if it was, its hardly the most offensive thing. Rivals making fun of their rivals?!?! Whats the wprld coming to.

is this what he referring to on his twitter account? i think it's actually a nice gesture from his team mates, and i would expect us to be the butt of their jokes - when your rivals ignore you you're doing something wrong.

Well manned up there Billy! It's a harmless gesture of backing from his team mates, nowt to get cross about.
