From the BBC website: FOOTBALL Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has signed his son James on a 12-month contract, reports BBC Radio Leicester. The defender, who is under the age of 21, has previously been on the books at Rotherham United and has been on trial with the Foxes over the summer.

why hopefully? Who cares whether he is or not? Leicester is just another club and Nigel Pearson just another Manager. I d hazard a guess that regardless of the score on Sunday, Nigel Pearson will still be their Manager on Monday morning
The BBC deleted two of my posts from the old 606 last week, I got two moderation notices. I'm not sure why the feel the need to go tidying up nearly two years after it shut, most odd.
Didn't Nigel used to play for Brian 20-odd years ago too? Never recall there being too much of a fuss about it.
Well we did always say the mods on there loved their jobs too much, carrying on for 18 months after it closed just for the fun of it is laughable though.
Are we the only club with two father/son combos in place in prominent roles at the same time? (Assem/Ehab and Steve/Alex)
Nigel did a good job here and then left to go to a club that would make him wealthy and also mean something to him. Most would do what hes done given the same circumstances. I can understand having a little rivalry with Leicester but to have so much hate for nigel pearson is ridiculous.
If it helps, I hate him because he's a boring, arrogant, overrated **** who made supporting City a chore rather than an enjoyable experience. Him leaving was the only thing I ever agreed with him on. As for this story, I dare say it wouldn't have been a big issue on here if he did this whilst he was here.
He didn't actually sign him, though he did play ten games for Torquay on loan from Fulham while Leroy was in charge.
