What's your stance on other English teams in Europe?

Personally I'll support any English teams in Europe bar Liverpool, United, Arsenal and Spurs.

I remember feeling gutted for Fulham when they lost he Europa Final a few years back. I want Newcastle to do well but that's about it, Spurs and Liverpool are in it so I'll most likely want a foreign team to win it, definitely not United when they eventually drop in. Although I'd piss myself laughing if United won the Europa League only for City to win the CL a week later

 

Depends on who they play in the final etc. I'd support any english team apart from Spurs, don't even count them as English anymore after turning themselves into Bayern Hotspurs last year.

But for example say Arsenal were playing Barca i'd want Arsenal to win, but say they were playing Madrid i'd want Madrid to win as i'd prefer Mourinho to win it

 

I support every English team in Europe apart from United (because of 08) and Spurs at the moment because AVB is their manager.

 

Support every Brit club bar Spuds Leeds West Ham and Liverpool for getting us banned

I'd love an Arsenal v Chelsea Champions League Final. Logistically you'd have to say Chelsea will go further than Arsenal as they are battled hardened.
As for the Europa League, I'd like Atletic Bilbao to win it because their team is composed of players from the Basque region or are of Basque origin. They give local talent a chance.

As a side statistic Milan's attendance was 20,000 tonight, Rangers 23,000+ for a Scottish League Cup tie against Queen of the South.

 

Don't know how much Milan's tickets were but Rangers £15/£10 and £5.

I really thought it would happen in Rome. By all rights we would have overcome Barca and I was sure Arsenal would overcome United

 

we came sixth 84/5, 85/6, 89/90 and would have played Uefa cup when we were skint and needed cash!

Agree pretty much but happy for Fulham QPR etc to do well in Europe. Just not Spuds West HAm Wall

Yeah I was a bit vague there, I quite like Fulham to do well in Europey, was loving their run under Woy.

 

Only 2nd, 3rd and the League Cup winners got a place in the Uefa Cup in the years you mentioned.
