TheFrenchTicklerWhat made that interview so good was Rosie in the background giving it loads. Lol. I already said that! (Sorry, just starting to get into the spirit of this forum).
Agreed, he's perfect for this level though. Just hope we are in a position at the end of the season to be deciding who is up to Prem standards. Elmo looks that level easy we are lucky to have him and Aluko. All the signings we have made bar possibly Proschwitz have been spot on what we needed to boost the squad, can only give credit to big Bruce for that.
He only answered one question without laughing. It was all Rosies fault. Lol. I can see a few contracts being sorted out around that time. Dont tell the people in Lesta just yet eh ? L O L.
He reminds me of Geo in a lot of ways. Not playing style obviously but his personality and the way he interacts with the fans. A lot is made of his lack of pace but I haven't seen him be totally beaten by anyone yet. There was one point last night where an attacker tried to go round him and I thought he was gone but Faye kept up pretty well. I think I heard Bruce say something about his lack of pace though so it's probably right.
He looked quite quick last night, he's definitely got much quicker since his first appearance for us.
Faye looks to have been a great signing for us, just like nearly all of Bruce's signings appear to be (i'm hoping Proschwitz will come good).
I thought he was quite quick against Brighton to be honest. His acceleration was terrible but once he got there he was shifting. There was one incident that game about the halfway line where the striker broke past him and got a 10 yard head start on him and he'd caught it back up by the time they reached the edge of the area.
He just hadnt trained properly over the summer without a club so it's totally understandable. He was blowing out his arse against Brighton after half an hour and he could hardle walk off when Bruce replaced him however he was dancing a jig at the end of 95 mins on Tuesday. Says it all about the training.
