John Terry's racism charge could be thrown out of the FA âcourtâ next week â because of the Wembley rulebook. The Chelsea skipper faces a four-match ban if he is found to have racially abused QPRâs Anton *Ferdinand last October when the delayed case starts on Monday. While Terry was cleared of racial abuse by Westminster magistrates in July, he conceded in evidence he had used the words âf****** black c***â in response to Ferdinand, although insisting he was dismissing the suggestion he had used such words as an insult. And that is likely to be used by Terryâs legal team to have the charge thrown out. FA rules say where cases have already been the subject of âcivil or criminal proceedingsâ then evidence accepted there should be presumed to be correct. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-captain-john-terrys-racism-1330208
Why? The guy should of be punished correctly in the first place then maybe people would have moved on
So even if he is found guilty, he will only get half of the Suarez ban while using worse racism? Typical FA.
He should get an identical ban as Suarez for any justice to have been done Only then should Anton feel it is right to shake hands If Terry did get a ban identical to Suarez he would probably not want to shake hands with Anton and we would be going round in circles
Of course any ban will benefit Chelsea's opponents for 4 games. There is no benefit to Anton or the Rs. Time to move on is way overdue, methinks.
Its not about QPR or Ferdinand, its about doing whats right and that is banning the scumbag longer than Suarez otherwise the FA will be guilty of racism themselves. They ban a foreigner but wont ban the England captain, what kind of message does that send out?
I don't really follow why Terry getting any ban or not, for very long, for ever, or for 1 game, will make any difference to Anton Ferdinand lack of desire to shake his hand! I can only believe Anton sees Terry as a racist sc*mt who has grossly abused him, and what some people in suits in an office somewhere do or not do about that, isn't going to change that.
The problem the FA have is that their own rule book states that an act requiring punishment that has been tried in a court of law and thrown out shall automatically be struck off unless there is new and compelling evidence that was missing from the court case. JT's lawyers are already flagging this up. If they find him guilty he'll no doubt appeal and God knows where that will lead. Looks like the c*nt will get away with it twice...
who won? from what i am reading lately my one was a design classic: NOT 606 ... everything QPR and stuff from Flyer
