I just hope we don't lose our "first" four games of the season! ie. the next four. Wouldn't ever say Villa have started brilliantly, but one thing they've done is started getting performances out of young players and players signed from lower leagues - Benteke and Lowton respectively in the last game, for example. One of the complaints aired often on here is that we have Championship players. Lowton came from Sheffield United and his goal more or less won Villa the game. And our lower league players are supposedly out of the top drawer, so am sure it just needs a bit of good man management to get the best out of them from here on in. They won't be easy to beat - will want to beat us as much as we want to beat them. This is a supposed six pointer too - even if that's laughable at this early stage of the season - it will be in every player on that pitch's mind: I agree, this is potentially the highest pressure game yet.
When will people wake up and realise there will be no easy games this season.Last season Reading,Leeds ,WestHam, Cardiff, Blackpool ,Birmingham etc were all considered tough games and now all of a sudden Wigan ,Villa ,West Brom and the like are all considered our season starts here kind of games.Not saying we cant pick up points against such opposition but they are sure going to be looking at us as a potential 3 pts i think we should give all teams at this level a great deal of respect.
