You're always here, a boil on the arse, causing friction, derailing threads.

I don't agree with Syd wanting this thread closed. The fact the two police women lost their lives is horrific but doesn't affect the reality of the miscarriage of justice cases that me & others have brought up.

See, we don't think Syd is some sort of God.

However, Syd has done more than anything to make not606 a success and has received a load of abuse from ****ers like you who come on just to disrupt.

I know the vast majority of Mag fans are grateful for the work Syd did in his time as Super Moderator - without which there would be no site - but I'm sure that's lost on you, Chiek, you tosser.

I'll take your abuse back, you can have the last word, as on the Thatcher thread, I know you're here to start a slanging natch but I won't give you the satisfaction.

First he comments saying to close the thread. I counter by saying why the thread shouldn't be closed in a perfectly amicable fashion. He goes on to tell me that I don't understand decency. Therefore he deserves everything he got, totally uncalled for. Btw, that means you also don't understand the concept of decency Mr **** the mags Dave. He's a condescending ****er, if you don't agree with him, you lack decency. Cool bro. But lets be honest. Anyone with "ftm" in their username is a bit of an embarrassment so not to be taken seriously anyway.

Mag I ignored this thread the other day but today felt I had to say something. Your original post is on this thread is a crock of ****.

Sadly you are out of your depth on this board. You are very poor at discussing anything really and you argue your point like a six year old.

    Enough abuse, already.

AMBAON, you are free to come here and comment, like any other mag, but you're guesting on the SAFC board and you'd do better sticking to the sensible comments and winning people round, rather than directing personal abuse at other posters.

And, no, I don't really care who started it.

Mag your whole post was a crock of **** based on nothing but you being asked about a minor crime when you were young. From this you have deduced that the whole police force is corrupt from the bottom up.

Pathetic but sadly to be expected from you.

If you want to make off the cuff remarks about death over a football forum I can do that too, pretty surprised after all the support you've received on here in the last year but if that's how you want to behave I can reciprocate?

Enough wumming please Tony, you haven't the slightest knowledge of what happened that day and to pretend you have is sad in the extreme.

I have not one but 2 counter stories about police, from my youth.

Number 1, Park Lane taxi rank and there was a bit of aggro, we'd all had a few and I can't even remember the reasons, but there was a flare up, I feel someone grab my arm, so swing an elbow, next thing I know, I'm under 2 coppers, and I'm in deep **** as I've splattered one of their colleagues noses.

Now, the copper in question, he stood up in court, said 'no way did he know it was a police officer, and in my opinion given the situation, I believe he acted in self defence', or words to that effect.

My jaw dropped, I got 120 hours community service, and the fella saved my arse, big time.

Second, and this was only about 4 years back, I'd been handed a 28 day ban for speeding in my absence, I'd moved house, and there'd been an overlap on changing details and summons being issued, was dropping my missus off at 2am, got pulled for speeding just near Hebburn fire station.

The bloke was sound, he'd already let me off with a warning, when it came through on his radio that I was banned.

I went white at this point, but again the fella saved my arse.

He pounded my car, which was a ****, but he had no option, couldn't let me drive on, but again, in court, his written statement, which I was unaware of until court, backed up mine 'unquestionably he was unaware of any ban at the time'.

In his statement he referred to a 'spot check', no mention of the speeding, I was fined £70, no points, no further ban. The lad was again, a diamond.

There's good and bad in any profession, I've had bad experiences with them too, but they aren't a majority, they are a few.

Remember, Police work in a charged environment when often they don't have time to think before they act, they will get it wrong on occasion, but tell me, how many of us wouldn't bend the truth a little to save a mates arse?

Both good stories and good to hear the flip side of things, but I think in regards to your last sentence that when you are employed as a police officer it is an entirely different scenario to normal, one small lie to cover a mates arse by a police officer could cost an innocent person his job, freedom etc etc
