On Monday I would start the 3 subs we brought on today.

Connolly came on again & was such an impact. Clever clever experienced player who would be a perfect replacement for the injured Barnard. Would be my first choice if fit. Bring on Forte as impact sub.

Lallana looked fit to me today. Start him now he has 50 + mins under his belt. He is such an important play maker. But trust the Saints medi staff on their decisions.

Seaborne, replace the tired Jaidi. Came on to replace the ragged torn Jaidi at the Rovers game & did well to keep a clean sheet. Linked up good play with Connolly. Came on again today at LB. Would of liked to have seen him start today, would of took the pressure off the team after Jaidi's lack of concentration maybe due to tiredness.

Glad we survived today with a fantastic win & not picking up any extra injuries. Excited for Monday & looking forward to another game.

You have to feel for Radhi. He must be knackered. I would certainly start Seaborne and Lallana (for Jaidi and Forte).

Personally though, that would be it. Keep Connolly on the bench, and bring him on if needed. I like having an option like him on the bench available to us.

Yes St brendy, I do feel sorry for Jaidi. He looked ruffled & was subbed last week & gave away a goal today. Seaborne has proved he can come on in a high impact game like last week & hold his own. Their strikers did nothing last week when he came on after we could of so easily been 2 nil down. Great to see we have players on the bench yet again that can do a job. Adkins has been saying this all season.
Do you not think Forte would be better coming off the bench with Connolly starting. Connolly shows he has so much experience in the game with his clever play. I'm not sure if he is wasted as a sub when we could benefit from him for 90 + mins with Forte as the impact sub. I'm sure in the last few games that Guly has played he has had chances but missed them, but if they had dropped to Connolly he would of put them away. Maybe I am just a Connolly fan but have rated him for years & I have been gutted how dogged with injuries he has been this year.

Connolly is one of the most dangerous players on the pitch, I think as an impact player he's second to none and is an incredible asset for Saints to have on the bench.

Just remember Connolly is not totally match fit........he had been out for months. As he is so prone to injuries bringing him on for 25 minutes or so will help. Nice to see he got a goal. He is another little gem that has always got a goal in him. Well played the Saints

I thought Connolly was excellant last week against Rovers, his movement was so good - such an intelligent player. I would like him to start on Monday - I accept what Beddytare has written about his match fitness but I don't want us to be chasing the game on Monday. I would sooner get 60 mins out of him; be comfortably in front and then take him off.

Yes that was my thoughts. Would love him to start but if he gets us a lead then he can come off. haha He is such an intelligent player, it just seems such a waste to have him on the bench if he is fit. Forte as well in my opinion, is more of an impact sub rather than if he starts.

Start the 3 subs today & I think we will get the win.

Great to see these 3 start today. I thought they might. They were 3 out of the 6 changes and how well did all these players play.

Just shows depth to our squad & how difficult it is to get in the side with every one performing.

All 3 of them were superb today. Seaborne was faultless, Lallana was great as always and Connolly was excellent too.

About 5 games behind there Kingsland.

On a side note - Lallana looked like he was still trying to get match fit today. Still class though. Tuesday off will do them good.

It does look as if Aaron Martin is Fonte's designated replacement hence the lack of appearances, he slotted in seamlessly against Hartlepool. Must have a good future in front of him. I am sure NA took Fonte off so that he could revel in the acclaim from the crowd as well as giving Aaron his appearance money.

Aaron has always looked a good prospect and now he needs to be shown by the club that he is rated by them with a long contract. He has a tough ask in removing our rock,Jose, but he could become our star CB for years to come.

Must be hard for Martin. Being 4th choice behind 3 performing CB's who are on form.

Glad he got his 5 mins today. Have to agree it was more so that Fonte could get the crowds reward for his performance & goals over the weekend.

Seaborne showed today how he can perform & slot in seamlessly with Fonte to replace the tired Jaidi.
Good performance again, composed & looks good playing the ball. People around us were saying they had forgot how good he was.
Loving the natural left foot & the way he can ping a ball. Looks hungry for the ball as well

Martin's problem is he is 4th choice with Jaidi & Fonte starting most games of late with Seaborne on bench.

Problem for Martin is Seaborne can cover LCB, LB or RCB.
Jaidi can then slot into RCB with Seaborne LCB making Martin surplus
& not getting on the bench unless Jaidi is rested completely.

Must be hard at his age as he is now seeing younger players coming on with good prospects
& will be pushing for the bench next season. Plus the signing of Stephens from Plymouth.
