I've just worked out that we have now come from behind 7 times to win a game this season. Also, everytime we have been behind and got an equaliser we have gone on to win the game. This shows what a fantastic team spirit we've got and the never-say-die attitude the players have got.
Stand up Nigel Adkins and take a bow. NC and Markus saved this club aqnd put some great plans in place, but NA has turned the club around on the playing field. He may sound full of management speak and psychobabble but he has convinced the team.
Yeah I totally agree. It seems he has the whole squad right behind him and really playing as a team. You can see how much it means to the players when they score and we win a game, like when Fonte scored yesterday and Hammond scored at Bournemouth.
You can see from the other thread how much that goal meant to Fonte and in fact to the whole team. Sometime they are accused of complacentcy somehow they will not be again. Perhaps it will also convince them that hey the manager also knows a thing or two. Now will they believe, will they actually believe?
I don't know if thats a good or bad thing. Coming from behind in 7 games. I would of rather we been ahead from the start Can't knock the team spirit though
I think one of the most important things is that when they play football, they're having fun! I have no other reason to think that it is solely because of Nigel. Under Pards, the players were very, very serious and often got quite angry. I have no idea, maybe one of the statto's could help out, but I am sure we have received less yellow/red cards under Nige than Pards. Lead from the top and all that!! Top job!
Love the sense of togetherness you get from every interview and goal celebration. Really makes me believe we can get automatic. Still 3 more games to show our mettle and determination.
