LoneRanger, the mythical Mittals comment really did annoy you didn't it?! I think you misunderstood what I meant.
David, my comments are only based on your continued use of the Mythical Mttal comment that you always used to use when describing them, at a time when Amit's involvement was growing and his popularity ever increasing. I just didn't get where you were coming from. Plus on this thread it was mentioned that Journalists had started the rumors, I mentioned that you clarified it was just your belief that they will pull out at some time, rather than based on any facts on this matter. Is that correct? If you do have any further insight then please feel free to share, to either convince the doubters such as myself, or tip the already worried believers into a state of despair.
I wouldn't say I "always used" the comment LoneRanger. I'd be surprised if I used it more than once or twice. And I certainly haven't spent five years saying Amit Bhatia was on the way out as you suggested previously. I was asked something on Twitter and answered, not realising I was being asked because of current rumours. I was just repeating something I'd said previously. Not based on any facts? That suggests I made it up or maybe flipped a coin or something, which isn't the case.
Steady on there Swords! Personally I'm happy to have David M on board, especially if he can throw any light on these rumours..
Hello David and welcome. Have you been reading this board for long? I think we can reasonably assume that what you said previously about the Mittal's commitment was based on some insight or inside info but could you put a time frame on it? That would at least allow us to put it into context based on what was floating around the public domain. Of course, any elaboration on your reasons behind your belief would be appreciated too.
Got rid of it. Bloody stupid post. Clicked post without thinking. Dave, its great to have you on here mate. Signing off this thread.
His West London Sport website advertisers will be a bit upset if Mr McIntyre provides any info that he is prepared to stand by on here rather than for the wider sporting public of Hammersmith and Fulham, so don't hold your breath lads.
Hi Matt, I read all boards from time to time and was a fairly regular poster on a couple of them when the internet had not long been invented! I had an interest in this board from the start though as it was born out of the 606 community which I was in touch with because for a long time BBC Sport were one of my main employers before I opted to leave when they relocated to Salford. Nowt wrong with Salford though, obviously. Sb_73, I can see why you'd say that and you're not too far from the mark. WLS isn't an issue as that's my baby so I'm not accountable to anyone, but I've got others to supply too and so am often limited in what I can say. Some will say that's because I know actually know nothing. I understand that. Thanks for other welcomes, but I know Swords is a valued poster so am happy to give ground I promise you though Swords you'll never come across anyone who puts less emphasis on their own profile than me. I'm about as comfortable in the spotlight as Cisse on the wing.
N 64, Col. I know most of the ST's around me, except behind since they're all new this season. You near?
Totally, mate. I've been reading your articles on the BBC Web-site for years and I've always thoroughly enjoyed them. Unreserved apologies for my opening gambit, my friend.
There you go Swords. How to get your dig in without causing offence: ' ...I know Swords is a valued poster so am happy to give ground '. Course Mac means he ain't up for locking antlers with a numpty - but prefers euphemism to leave it at that. Nice. 'Specially from a mod's viewpoint!
