Kelv was brilliant for us in the lower levels and has been a great, loyal servant to the club, but only 4 games in and a lot of question marks are coming up, for example, is it really so hard to defend your near post?

Any insight on Gordon? As far as I'm aware he's a talented keeper but has problems staying out of the treatment room.

In fairness to Southampton as well as Davis...there first 3 games were from the top 4...not many teams would expect to take any points from that...

Apart from that Gordon is a brilliant keeper...for half a season...

Watching Southampton brings back some horrid memories of Davis. Bar Man Utd away he was abysmal the whole year he was here. He's not a premier league gk and if he remains number one they'll go down im afraid. You can't afford your keeper to be a weak link.

Gordan will be a great coup. Better than Mig and Westwood imo

Davies is the worst Sunderland keeper I have seen in fifty years of supporting them.

    Keep him and you're down.

bizarre, i was talking about gordon to a saints fan the other day. think he'd be a good signing for them, he deserves another crack at being a premier league keeper, he;s certainly good enough.
