I'm ****ing buzzing. What a ****ing result.

This was a fantastic game, and, although a lot of people might say Everton were hard done by, the free kick that lead to Anichbe's disallowed goal, IT WASN'T A FREEKICK! And justice was totally done.

2-2 was the right result IMO.

It would have been 5-5! So many chances, great quality. It was everything a premier league game should be. One team battering the other in different areas.

We looked brilliant when we changed to 4-3-3. And it was great to see Shola doing what he does best.

    Ratings -

Harper - 7 - Could do nothing about the goals really. But some great play. Great reading of the game at times, great punches out, and great sportsmanship.

Perch - 6.5 - Not great first half, but great energy in the second half, and provided some great balls into the box.

Saylor - 8 - If it wasn't for Ba's fantastic performance and getting us the points with two great goals, I'd give Saylor MOTM, but unfortunately I can't. He was the only player that was good throughout the full 90 mins. Some fantastic defending, solid performance.

Willo - 7 - Not great first half, but not bad either. Did a job in the second half, and helped us keep Everton out.

Santon - 7.5 - Good performance. Can't fault him in any department. A big threat on that side to Everton, throughout.

Marv - 2 - Poor. But this lad has shown so much quality, and I just think this was the wrong game for him

Jonas - 5 - Awful first half, but he did better in the second half. He dug deep, and won us freekicks at vital times and in vital positions.

Cabaye - 7 - Couldn't get into the game first half. And no we see why we're all banging on about 4-3-3! Cabaye was ****ing superb. Some fantastic passes, and a fantastic assist.

Ben Arfa - 5 - Not a great game, but some sparks of class, and unlucky not to get a goal.

Ba - 9 - Just fantastic. Proved that he's just as good as Cisse, if not better, when on form.

Cisse - 5.5 - Better from him today, a lot more threatening, very close to scoring in moments.

Shola - 7 - Didn't play much, but did his job late on, and another great flick on and assist.

MOTM - Obviously Ba, but Saylor also great.

OVERALL - PARDS YOU SEXY BASTARD!! Cunning ****ing handsome twat, lulling Everton into a false sense of security first half... obviously <cool>

But seriously, we were much better in a 4-3-3. Everyone benefits from it.

What about Anita? I thought he looked a lot better after he switched to Right-back and we may have found the successor to Simpson with him.

Very harsh on Everton, two perfectly good goals disallowed.

Can't believe Ben Arfa didn't score when he went one on one, I needed points for my fantasy team.

Seems much better suited to right back.

Look in the papers tomorrow, you'll find that they weren't perfectly good goals.

Anita's long balls forward were arguably even worse than Simpson's tonight though. If that's possible

No, their goal from the set play should have stood, but the freekick shouldn't have been given.

Lucky with the Fellaini goal, but I personally thought the top half of his body was offside, why was it only Saylor's feet to Fellaini's?

Anyway, we were lucky there, but it was a fantastic game and both sides could have easily won it and scored 4-5 goals.

    Fair result in the end.

<laugh> Fact is the ball was over the line, how is that not a goal? Whether it was a free-kick or not is irrelevant.

I actually agree justice was done on that one as it clearly wasn't a freekick. But a goal is a goal and denying it is taking delusion to a new level.

It seems it wasn't quite 100% over the line and it has to be before a goal is given.

I wasn't denying it, it should have stood, technically, but it was justice done. Tough tits.

You can record that footage for the compilation "lucky mags" video, which will be posted by some Sunderland fans on youtube. It's all you mackems seem to go on about. Whenever we have a bit of luck there's always a thread and a bunch of you's calling us lucky.

Copied and pasted from what I said on TF:

Just got in. Won't go over everything in the game as it will already have been said, but to all those on here who don't rate Shola - go f*** yourselves. Seriously. Go f*** yourselves in the f****** arse you f****** c****. Hopefully this is the end of the Shola bashing, everyone overlooks what he adds to the team just because it's fashionable to call him lazy and s***. He's made you all look like mugs tonight so sit there and eat your f****** humble pie and take it like the little bitches you are.

Also well done for responding well to being dropped Demba

Shola is good at doing his job, but he's not a great goalscorer. He's a great player to have in your team though.

Cracking game as you say Tash. Edge of the seat stuff.

I can't believe how poor we were right across the pitch in the first half. Our defending was very scary at times (leading to me shouting words at the TV that the mini-Obi's shouldn't hear) and the midfield missed some of their runners which didn't help. Lumping balls up to Cisse when he has Jags + Distin both on him is pathetic.

I think Harps could have done better, especially for the 2nd goal.

We looked soooo much better with Ba on and Shola made an impact. Cabaye + Ben Arfa only really came to life when we went 4-3-3. Anita + Perch also both improved when they swapped positions.

To me, Willo is still a liability although he did 'save' that 'goal'. Which brings me on to the officials - a few very poor decisions tonight.

We had a lucky escape and snatched a point in a thrilling match. Could have been a lot worse.

Shola's leap for the second goal was reminiscent of a salmon leaping on a ****ing bouncy castle. I also think moving Perch into the middle and Anita to rb in the second half was very important and we looked more solid and balanced after that switch.

Sorry I missed the part where I called you 'lucky'.

    Care to point it out?
