Over the last few years, we seem to have over turned some poor records or recorded some firsts, for example our first win at Loftis Road.

What I would like, would be a first win against Everton, about time, don't mind the club but used to think the old chairman Carter was a right T@@t

I think we'll win 2-1. There's no reason that we shouldn't be able to beat Everton. What's happened in the past is irrelevant.

Obviously our defence is the only concern, so we'll just have to make sure they don't get the ball to hurt us at all. I can see us pulling it off, we've overcome tougher tests, never say die :D

going to be the pessimest here, no chance with the defence, good opportunity to have a couple of the young lads on the bench

    Not in a Prem game.

I have a good feeling about Saturday but I'm not sure why. Maybe because I thought we played really well at Villa for 2/3 of the game. At home we can do it for the full 90 I'm sure.

"I fancy us this time but I really have no idea why " .... our new found counter attacking tactics is why IMO

Maybe, Breezy. We just look a more potent threat these days. I only hope we can hold together what looks like a leak-prone ship.

Our defence is fine. In now it's only a few games into the season but we've got the 5th best defensive record so far. Both Man City and Man U have conceded more goals than us. I think we're a lot better defensively than some are suggesting. Yes there's room for improvement, but let's not make us out to be worse than we actually are.

Fine? Half of our conceded goals being gifted by Williams gaffs in just two games may say otherwise. I agree that if he gets back to his best we will be fine as Chico will be back soon and Bartley is a capable number two. Until then we have to hope that both Williams and Tate concentrate for the full 90.

Know what you mean, but was just looking at the big picture. Williams usually plays quite well, so I don't think a few off-games is anything to worry about. And as you say, Chico will be back soon. And if we do concede a few, hopefully we can score a few more as well. Still early days though.

Agreed. Anyone else think Vorm hasn't looked his usual calm-self either...? Could just be that with Williams & Vorm having off days that's where we've gone wrong....can't see them both continuing to look shaky for long! As soon as one or both of them get back to their best the rest of the defence will be more confident and composed and we'll be back on top.

In a way, I take comfort from the fact that 2 of our goals have been Ash's cock ups as it's very rare and don't expect it to continue. If it was say Ben Davies who gifted 2 soft goals I would be far more concerned
