    It's true, see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lambert_of_Maastricht

Saint Lambert was bishop of Maastricht in the 7th century AD and September 17th is his feast day, still celebrated as a major festival in Münster in Germany.

How should us Saints fans mark this special day?

Saints don't have a game on the 17th unfortunately but perhaps Saint Lambert will send his blessings for the Arsenal and Villa games?

Fond memories of Maastricht, and now another reason to feel a warm glow when the names mentioned.
If he keeps going the way he is, we might have a ST Lamberts day here soon! <ok>
