And yes we lose to gillingham in the league cup, but it's our tradition to lose to ****e teams in the league cup.. whats your excuse?
I suppose it is to much to ask(ROD LL &Banksy) that you would be in any way objective. No way would you ever want to lose to a L2 club in any competition and Lodge if the Gills are a ****e team what does that say about a team in a superior league with far better players,We dont enjoy being beaten by any L2 club especially 4 nil, however you appear to think that given City are playing in the Championship they are better than any team in the lower leagues? Banksy a cup run is good for the team the supporters and club,you would not be saying that if you were on a good cup run. And just because you scored 3 goals against Blackburn you are a great team,forgetting the fact that you conceded 5 and lost to NF and Barnsley without scoring. Rovers are not in good shape at the moment but we are only 5 games in to a long season.Not a good start although plenty of time we hope for MM to put a team in place that can compete. I really, honestly dont give a **** about the League cup. And nor do our players going by the performance they put in that night.. COR, You don't seem capable of understanding we are happy with our performances at the moment and are looking beyond the results, we know we are a team in transition and most of us are happy with what we are seeing so far.. (apart from the obvious need to strengthen areas that our manager has identified) We look at you and think 'There but for the grace of God'
Puts it into perspective when we're having 8 goal thrillers against the likes of blackburn whilst you're getting turned over by the likes of barnet and morecombe.. You also seem to forget we beat cardiff with ease, one of the best teams in the division..you can't even brag about a win, the best you can come out with is scraping a draw against... aldsershot
"when have we been able to walk out of the gate thinking we have lost,but what a performance,what a game to watch." I know. The feeling of people leaving the ground was so different to a usual loss. We were all disappointed but I doubt a person among us could claim that we didn't get our money's worth.
Why? Even McInnes was upset to be out of it because it's potential income that could be the difference in the quality of player we sign. I hope we take the FA Cup far more seriously than we did against the Gills.
