I rate Neville (Sky), Lee Dixon (ITV), Clarke Carlisle (Sky), Shaka Hislop (ESPN), Tommy Smyth (ESPN) simply because they are articulate and provide foundation to their arguments, more importantly they don't pander to the "bigger" clubs and just say it how it is. I hate these pundits that are too afraid to criticise Liverpool/United etc in fear of backlash from their fans/Directors. Neville is the best pundit out there, I don't rate him as a co-commentator but easily the best pundit we've had in years.
try watching the fox soccer pundits here in the states they called us a "flea market" team LOL,well if 9mill on Granero is flea pit then i bow to their greater knowledge.
It's a shame some of the overseas broadcasters are not so well read on English Football pre-2000. Sides like QPR and Southampton are traditionally top flight sides.
Have to agree. MOTD coverage of us was shocking. Not even a mention after the handshake bit. How can they have not noticed even something like Faurlin and Granero's positive performances.
MOTD2 was even worse! They showed the 1st scum chance and the 2 penalty shouts and that was it, not one single QPR chance.
Please tell me I'm not the only one that can't stand that annoying little twerp that presents it. I'd love to slap him in right in the chops.
MOTD 2 was worse ( If that's possible?) than MOTD 1. Tony Gale is a top pundit, he should be more main stream, even though he is a Chelsea fan he is completely unbiased. He sees it as he calls it and has one or two nice quips. On Hazards miss when he ballooned a cracking chance into the upper loft.... '' That effort was how he likes his bacon... lean back! '' I've had the pleasure of getting drunk with Tony Gale, he really is a top all round nice bloke.
I heard he was a Chelsea fan as a boy but his allegiance is with West Ham. I could be wrong as you clearly know him better than I do. I've always thought he was biased against Chelsea but an all round good pundit in non-Chelsea games. He seems like a guy you'd want to have a pint with though in fairness.
Colin Murray is a complete arsehole. I'm sure the BBC are doing their utmost to select presenters that have every extreme of accent and irritational quality. A channel full of smartarses...
Not sure. Maybe he meant that the guy is of mixed-race perhaps? If he did, then its a strange way to put it.
