About time we get a decision against a top 6 side. Football, Rugby and even Basketball we are Stoke City and we'll play how we want :)

Brilliant performance today from Stoke and a joy to watch to be fair. No playing for set pieces and passed it around beautifully.

Matty looked well rusty when he came on but he's just coming back from injury so to be expected. Ballotelli did his best to cheat a sending off but failed miserably.

8 home games against the top 6 sides and still unbeaten.

Nzoni and Adam bought something to the midfield we have been lacking for the past 4 seasons, comfortbale on the ball, wanted the ball and spread it around really well. We were even playing it out from the back instead of hoofing it up.

MOTD biased once more showing the Wilko/Ballotelli handbags but did not show the Garcia leg breaker on Walters, but we have grown to be used to that now!

    Onwards and upwards, COYMP!

    Things looking up maybe!

    Mornig Waddo (and all),

I watched it 'on stream' and was pleasantly surprised - to say the least.

No false praise intended. I would like to see that type of performance, against a non top 6 club especially at home.

As you said my friend; maybe, just maybe.

To be honest Crouch was fouled before the handball and could have gone down for a penalty. All in all though I think we deserved a point and liked how we played. I hope we see a lot more performances like that in the near future!!!. UTPsssssssssss

    Well I never did...
Bloddy missed my first home game in years (apart from Liverpool last season my daughter's Wedding) and we actually play well.

Welcome back Nicky! And Waddo, pleased that you enjoyed the game and everything I was told is correct.

As for the Crouch handball... so what?

Ballerinatelle gets pushed over by Wilko...
    Suarez DIVES
And UTD get the worst penalty given I've seen for a long time..

Get in there Crouch great finish too!

Basketball Mr Mancinni What's the next excuse a Manager will come up with.

OH and it was never a free kick, the goal that Citeh scored from.

And to add to the improvement of the team, the atmosphere was back to it's best for most of the game yesterday.
It went a bit crap after they scored but the Brit was rocking once again.

Fully deserved the point and Begovic and Ryan joint Motm for me, both immense today.

Stoke played well? You must have to watch some **** if that was good. Would have got battered if it wasn't for cheating and fouling

It sometimes mystifies me what other people see and I can only assume your view is from the ridiculously skewed MOTD version of events?
Stoke are a team who work their socks off for each other and it's up to the opposition to match the work rate to allow themselves to play how they want to.I didn't think we ever got on top of them and apart from the couple of chances near the end restricted us to mainly half chances at best.As for the fouling and cheating I thought Balotelli was making a meal of everything and was irritating the referee which may be why he got nothing for the elbow in the second half, something I also think he's made a meal of.
Stoke deserved the point they grafted for and that's all we deserved as well,it was a fair result

Thank You,Paul, for giving praise where it`s due. I would like to say that my grandad came from Salford and he always said that any true Mancunian supported City over Utd, and I believe that to be true. We`ll not win the league, but out of all the other possibles I hope you do!! Good Luck!!

    Paul,
Thanks for a honest view and your gracious comments. Would rather you won the title again, and not Utd any day.

    As for Whateveryournameis..
Bullet? I'd love to put one right between your excuse for a brain..... BANG!

Obviously didn't go to the game and just believed in what Match Of The Day's biased highlights showed him.

blinkered fans ha ha ha, all we have done on this board is slate our club for the past 2 seasons so I dont think we are blinkered. You need to go and learn how to handle not winning pal, I remember when you were relegated along with us to the third tier of football, dont forget where you have come from just because a billionaire is BUYING you some success!!, or maybe you didnt support Man City before they were competing for the premiership title?. Now **** off you prick!
