OT- The Great North Run 2012 - *Fundraising for MACMILLAN*

Have just heard that Mo Farah has pulled out as he is rather tired.
Tired? All he did was win two gold medals at the Olympics after 4 years of hardcore training.... and ascend to hero status within the UK through his MOBOT celebration... oh wait... fair play Mo... at least you will 'Hi-Fiving' at the start though. #legend.

 

Hope all your preparations are going well ACS, no doubt you'll be doing Triathlons next year, especially now you have your bike!

 

indeed. one day I'd like to get to that level. The bike is my challenge for 2013 and swimming for 2014 so hopefully by the time I'm 40 I can be looking to tackle the triathalon.
Training has flattened out a bit TBH as I have a chest infection (4 weeks of a hacky cough) plus I don't want to risk injury so tomorrow is my last long run then I'l put my feet up for a week.

Well people, i did it!
8 mins longer than last year as i ran into a few issues.
A big PB for the first 5k though... So something to build on.
