Small update here Lads...... I met Cesar after the game, had a brief chat with him, and I don't speak Portuguese! Also, I saw Cerny around noontime parking his car half ways up Loftus Road in an overflow car park. Seems there is only room for the regular squad at the School End. That's the makings of a GK coach to me. Just back in Wexford after a great (long!) day. Haven't read any of the threads yet, but in my opinion, we played football on the ground today..... A la Brazil! There is hope!
Nice one Corker, what did you chat with Cesar about? Wish I could have seen the game today but I was in work, and it sounds like MOTD isnt worth watching! Sounds like a cracking performance all round so I'm well happy
At least you will see all of his saves. They didnt even show our penalty and the possible red card for a 2 footed tackle. Then againt he editor is a scum fan so thats why.
you are correct but what did you expect if we had 20 shots to their 5 they would of said Chelsea were held to a draw
He looked very impressive yesterday and full of confidence. The early save was very important. Exactly what we need in the PL as every other team seems to have a top class keeper whose individual saves result in a tally of extra points over the season. A lot better than the last C(a)esar we had playing for us in the top division. Anyone remember Gus Caesar's loan spell from Arsenal in the early 90's?
Just got home to Munich. Fantastic atmoshere, Caesar, Granero, the whole defense, yes all were outstanding. A real team yesterday! All day long Handshaking debate is too much imo. Hope the injuries aren't too serious.
Please tell me the kick which almost lead to zamora's goal was deliberate? Quick thinking, hit the area of uncertainty, spin on the ball, awkward bounce....pure class.
